& Gallery Australia is excited to announce the launch of a prestigious new art prize, with the main award of $125,000, designed to significantly impact the artist's career.

Sixty artists from across Australia will be showcased over a two month exhibition, enriched with a series of artist talks, forums and events.

We are thrilled to announce that Ugochukwu - Smooth Nzewi - Artist & Curator of Painting and Sculpture from MoMA - Museum of Modern Art in New York will be the judge of The Sorrento Art Prize. Smooth will be travelling to Australia to Judge the award and will also be involved in a series of events over 10 days. We can’t wait to host Smooth in Sorrento.
