There is no theme.
60 Artists works will be shortlisted and exhibited at & Gallery in Sorrento 28 June - 31 August 2025
ARTIST SUBMISSIONS
The & Sorrento Art Prize is open to artists at all stages of their careers and across all mediums. Including but no limited to… Painting, Sculpture, Photography, Ceramics, Drawing, Multi media and installation projects.
Eligible artworks created and exhibited within the last 5 years - no earlier than 28 June 2020
All scale of art work considered however no larger than 2.5 H x 2 W x 2 D mt. in any direction
All artists are welcomed to apply, artists represented by commercial galleries will have their galleries acknowledged.
Collaborating artists are able to apply. Fill the form with one artist’s contact details and put details of all artists in the PDF
Up to 60 artists will be shortlisted for the prize.
All shortlisted artists will be profiled across our marketing platforms.
We are thrilled to announce that IAS - International Art Services will transport shortlisted artworks from around Australia at a significantly reduced rate. We are hoping to raise additional funds to full cover all the costs.
The shortlisted works will be exhibited at & Gallery Australia in Sorrento, located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, in a comprehensive eight-week showcase from 28 June - 31 August 2025.
The exhibition will launch with an opening gala event on 28 June 2025.
The exhibition will be enriched with a series of artist talks, forums, and events over the exhibition period, known as the SAP Sessions.

All artworks must be available for sale, with & Gallery taking 40% commission - & Gallery will commission split for artists solely represented by an another commercial gallery. All commercial galleries will be acknowledged in catalogue and in exhibition signage.

Pricing of work and commercial gallery representation will be requested if shortlisted.
Images of existing artwork to be considered along with 3 previous works.
Or if proposing a new work, not yet completed, include details of the art work, with up to 3 previous art work examples.
Video work or sound proposals can be uploaded additionally to a PDF. This is only for a video or sound work being submitted as the an entry. Large files can be sent by a link via email. gallery@djprojects.net
