Takahiko was born in Italy in 1979, and is currently based in Ballarat Australia. Taka studied sculpture in Japan and graduated with a master degree. Taka practices ranges from small scale to large public art projects. His pieces often are made from life metal pieces, which are welded, overlapped and layered in repetition.
Taka has been exhibiting in Australia for 6 years including at Lorne sculpture Biennale, BOAA- Biennale of Australia Art and at the Yarra Sculpture Gallery.
